Be early on the roles that matter.
Watch a company’s careers page, a filtered Greenhouse or Lever search, or your own application status page. SiteChime checks them on a schedule and chimes when the next check sees a new role appear or your application status change — often before LinkedIn surfaces it.
The problem
By the time a job hits LinkedIn, dozens have already applied.
Most companies post on their own careers page hours or days before LinkedIn syndicates it. By the time you see it in your feed, the early-applicant advantage is gone — recruiters routinely close a req at the first 50 applications.
SiteChime watches the source. Pick the careers page (or a pre-filtered ATS search URL) once, and you’ll hear about a new role within an hour on Pro, fifteen minutes on Pro+ — in time to be one of the first ten in.
How it works
Public job boards and your own application portals.
For public career pages and ATS boards.
Paste the URL of a company’s careers page, a Greenhouse or Lever search URL with your filters already applied, or a Workday listing page. SiteChime fetches it on a schedule and tells you when a new role appears.
Hourly checks on Pro · 15-minute checks on Pro+
For application status pages and internal boards.
Some companies put your application status behind a login. Internal job boards always do. Install the Chrome extension, sign in once in your own browser, and SiteChime watches the page from inside your session.
Your password never leaves your machine. Only the extracted page text is uploaded. Get the extension.
What gets monitored
The pages job-seekers and recruiters refresh too often.
Company careers pages
Watch the careers page of a target company. SiteChime alerts you when a new role appears, with the role title and team in the summary.
Filtered Greenhouse / Lever / Ashby boards
Use a search URL with your role, location, and team filters pre-applied. SiteChime watches that exact result set, so you only hear about roles that match.
Workday & SmartRecruiters listings
Enterprise ATS pages are often JS-rendered. SiteChime captures the rendered text so listings still show up reliably.
Your application status page
Sign in to a company’s candidate portal once. SiteChime watches your application status and pings you when it moves from "Submitted" to "Under review" to "Interview".
Internal job boards (logged-in)
Internal mobility boards always require an employee login. Browser mode watches them from inside your own session — the company never knows we exist.
Specific role pages
Watch a role you already applied to. SiteChime tells you when the listing is edited, closed, or quietly removed (often the first sign of an offer extended).
Example alert
What an alert looks like.
Why SiteChime
Built for job-seekers and in-house recruiters who need a head start.
Section-level precision
Pick just the job-list block on a careers page. Career-page hero edits, photo refreshes, and footer copy changes don’t fire false alerts.
Pre-filter at the URL
Modern ATS boards encode filters in the URL. Apply your filters once, paste the resulting URL, and you only get alerted about roles that already match.
Plain-English summary
Each alert leads with what changed in one sentence — "New role: Senior Backend Engineer", "Status moved to Under review" — so you know whether to act in two seconds.
Email, Slack, Discord, webhook
Route job alerts to a personal Slack DM, a Discord channel of fellow job-seekers, or any webhook destination on Pro and above.
Works on logged-in candidate portals
Browser mode watches your application status page from inside your own browser session. Your password never leaves your machine.
No spam, no scraping protected fields
We watch the pages you choose. We don’t scrape protected fields, don’t apply on your behalf, and don’t enrich your alert with data you didn’t already point us at.
FAQ
Common questions from job-seekers and recruiters.
Does this work on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, SmartRecruiters?
Yes for all of them, with one caveat — Workday tenants vary in how they render results. If a Workday page doesn’t pick up cleanly in cloud mode, browser mode (which renders the page in your own browser) is the workaround.
Will the company know I’m watching their careers page?
Cloud-mode checks come from our servers and look like normal browser visits. Browser-mode checks happen inside your own browser. Neither identifies you to the target company — we send no custom headers and no identifying information.
Can I watch the status of an application I’ve already submitted?
Yes — use browser mode. Sign in to the candidate portal once in your own browser, pick the status block, and SiteChime watches it from inside your session. Common alerts: "Submitted → Under review", "Under review → Interview", listing removed.
How often can SiteChime check a careers page?
Free includes one check per day. Pro is hourly. Pro+ is every 15 minutes. We don’t check more aggressively than that — most companies post new roles in business hours, so 15 minutes is enough to be early without being abusive.
Can I use this for recruiting (watching competitor career pages for new teams hiring)?
Yes. Many SiteChime users watch competitor careers pages to spot team expansions, leadership hires, or location moves. Pick the page once and route alerts to a Slack channel for your recruiting team.
How does pricing work?
Free includes 5 watches with daily checks. Pro is $9/month for 25 watches with hourly checks plus Slack, Discord, and webhook destinations. Pro+ is $19/month for 50 watches with 15-minute checks and a priority queue.
