How do I cancel my subscription?
Sign in to your dashboard, go to Billing, and click “Manage subscription”. You can cancel anytime — your access continues until the end of your current billing period. We don’t issue partial refunds except where required by law.
What’s the difference between Free, Pro, and Pro Plus?
Free is for testing — 3 watches with daily checks. Pro ($9/mo or $90/yr) adds hourly checks, 25 watches, and webhook destinations like Slack, Discord, Zapier, n8n. Pro Plus ($19/mo or $190/yr) adds 50 watches, 15-minute cloud checks, priority queue processing, and advanced notification controls — best for time-sensitive pages. Yearly plans save 17%. Why isn’t my watch detecting changes?
A few things to check: (1) the page might be behind a login wall — for those, use our browser extension instead. (2) The change might be filtered as a timestamp or rotating banner — we deliberately ignore these to reduce noise. (3) The page might use heavy JavaScript that loads content after our snapshot. Try adjusting the section selector to a more specific element.
Can I monitor pages behind a login?
Yes — install the SiteChime browser extension and watch the page from your own browser session. Your login stays on your machine; we never see your credentials.
How accurate is the change detection?
We compare cleaned text content (stripped of timestamps, rotating banners, ads). Layout changes don’t trigger alerts — only meaningful content changes do. False positives can still happen on highly dynamic pages; you can tighten the section selector to reduce them.
What happens if my webhook URL stops working?
Failed webhook deliveries are logged but don’t block email alerts — you’ll still get the email. We don’t currently auto-disable a broken webhook, but plan to add that. Check the URL works using the “Send test webhook” button in Settings.
How do I delete my account?
Email hello@sitechime.com from the address on your account. We’ll confirm and delete within 7 business days.
